What our fees include

The Mercy Regional Eye Centers’ LASIK fees are global, which means we include everything:

  • Your initial complete eye exam
  • Corneal topography
  • All medications before and after your procedure
  • The surgery, no matter what your prescription
  • All follow up appointments for at least one year following the initial date of your surgery
  • All appointments with your surgeon

The Mercy Regional Eye Centers offer several payment options to make LASIK affordable for you.

Our convenient payment choices

  • Cash or check
  • Credit card
    We accept VISA, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. Some credit cards offer low rates, spending rewards or special rates on checks from your credit card account.
  • Insurance
    LASIK vision correction benefits vary greatly. Check with your insurance carrier or your employer for benefit information. Our patient financial counselors are happy to help you verify coverage before your procedure.
  • Health flexible spending accounts/medical savings accounts
    Many employers offer these accounts that allow you to designate funds for medical expenses, saving you about 30% on average! If these benefits are available to you, find out if you are a candidate in time to set aside funds for LASIK during your open enrollment period. Check with your human resources department to see these options are available to you. If you have questions, please call us. If you do not have a health flexible spending account or medical savings account available, check with your accountant to see whether LASIK is a tax-deductible expense for you.
  • The Mercy loan program
    In addition to our other financing options, Mercy Health System offers a loan program tailored to meet your needs. You can enjoy the convenience of applying for a loan in just a few minutes with one of our patient financial counselors, either in person or on the telephone. Turnaround time on financing status is generally about one business day. Our financing program is completely confidential. We try to adjust this plan to meet your needs and offer payments extending up to 72 months with low fixed rates, at two points above the current prime rate.
